65' 5'', Dauntless' handsome teak interior was creatively designed by an expert in corporate aircraft and flawlessly fitted by skilled cabinet makers to provide the highest degree of luxury possible. The salon is highlighted by the ingenious, intricate cabinets of the bar and its accompanying decorative storage for the Baccarat crystal. A unique olive burl high-low dining table and banquette across from the buttersoft leather portside seating area provides an excellent venue for cocktails or dining for six. Clever space planning means that the navigation station, with its leather aircraft seat and bristling with the latest electronics, is convenient yet out of sight from the salon.
The yacht’s comfortable accommodation plan includes two exceptional staterooms with superb appointments. The fullwidth owner’s cabin is aft with ensuite head and shower. Its plush décor is accented by sophisticated lighting and a complete entertainment system with TV, VCR and stereo.
Forward of the salon is a comfortable double guest cabin with queen-size bed and desk. The crew quarters located forward of the guest cabin, accommodates a crew of two or three, and provides stowage. The spacious and fully-equipped galley is finished to the same high standards as the salon. Hydraulic winches and roller furling sails make Dauntless easily sailed by just two or three. This is an exceptionally seaworthy fast passage maker and the perfect all-weather cruiser. Her itinerary for 1995, for example, ranged from Barbados Race Week to a five-week cruise in Alaska and British Columbia. Expertly maintained Dauntless is in turnkey condition. A second refit in 1996 including new paint from mast to keel has her in top condition inside and out. A passarelle for stern-to boarding and new features such as roller furling gear and a cold-wether “Juneau” cockpit enclosure give her world-wide cruising capabilities.
